FAIRNET Saurer's Presentation Partner at ITMA
Saurer is one of the leading global technology companies that focuses on machines, components and software for processing fibre and yarn. That is why the ITMA, the world's most important textile trade fair, is a must-attend event for presenting innovations to the international public and for talking to partners and customers in person. FAIRNET created the ideal conditions for this with an impressive stand. At the show were machines for pre-spinning, spinning, winding, twisting and embroidery. Other exhibition areas dealt with the topic of components and digital solutions such as "Sense", a programme for the entire management of a spinning mill.
The ITMA is a trade fair for machines and is known for loud noises and high temperatures. With that in mind, FAIRNET placed all the presentation rooms inside the two-storey stand, which was completely self-contained, and also installed a ceiling above the second level to create an appealing atmosphere for personal discussions. In order to create an inviting, modern and optically open look and to provide a view of the outside world, both levels were framed exclusively in glass.
On the upper floor, a large lounge with bar area, nine separate meeting rooms and a technical room were set up. From the lounge, guests could access the "Skywalk", a 24-metre long bridge 3.25 metres wide that led into the stand. The bridge gave visitors an impressive view of the machines exhibited below.
Another highlight of the presentation was an LED wall, which was integrated into the wall construction and looked round thanks to a round cutout. A corporate video was shown on a loop. The space in front of this LED wall was used twice a day for lectures on various topics. These lectures were announced with a jingle, which also brought all the machines on display to a standstill and created the best possible conditions for concentrating on the speakers. The necessary audio technology was integrated into the ceiling construction of the stand.
Another eye-catcher was the distinctive "Create." lettering, visible from afar, made from framed Plexiglas and backlit with LEDs. As a part of the company's communication strategy, the lettering had to be clearly visible. "We power creation." and "Create." were the overall mottos of the trade fair appearance, that was presented at the trade fair and has since also made its way into Saurer communication.
There was another large lounge on the ground floor and the so-called "innovation room", a closed room where guests and partners were introduced to the latest developments. This area was enriched with a bar and kitchen, a staff room, an office and a large storage area. All rooms and lounges were air-conditioned, using four air-conditioning units.
The ITMA attracted more than 1,700 exhibitors from 45 countries around the world. More than 105,000 visitors came from 137 countries.
