Location: Leipzig Trade Fair

TASK
In May 2025, Europe's largest youth welfare summit, the German Children and Youth Welfare Day (DJHT), took place at the Leipzig Trade Fair. As official hosts, the city of Leipzig and the Free State of Saxony welcomed around 30,000 visitors from Germany and neighboring European countries. The aim was to present the city's and state's child and youth services to this international audience of experts in an appealing way and invite them to engage in personal exchange.

SOLUTION
An extensive exhibition with over 300 booths, stages, activity areas, and forums was held in Exhibition Hall 2 and the impressive Glass Hall. FAIRNET was the perfect partner for these tasks – from hall layout and exhibitor placement to the planning and implementation of forums and exhibition areas, as well as the realization of various system stand variants and individual presentations.
The exhibition stands of the city of Leipzig and the Free State of Saxony were particularly eye-catching. Visible from afar, the central motif of Leipzig's presentation was the radiant laughter of children, surrounded by individual discussion corners, information pillars, and areas for presentations and activities. The Free State of Saxony and the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, and Social Cohesion presented themselves under the motto “Loud today, strong tomorrow – child and youth welfare as a location factor” on 1,300 square meters. The design, with strong messages in eye-catching lettering and bright colors, connected all the stand elements – from the container with a roof terrace to the stage with an LED wall and activity areas to the presentation of more than 100 organizations and projects from the Saxon child and youth welfare landscape in ten thematic areas.
