Event/Location: INNOTRANS, Berlin

Area: 828 m²

TASK

The appearance of the world market leader for locomotives, air brakes, train control systems, as well as other components for rail vehicles at Innotrans was to combine high-quality exhibit presentations and modern digital media as a replacement for large exhibits. The topic of sustainability was also to have a firm place in the presentation. The focus was particularly on the visitor. In addition to obtaining information, they should have many opportunities for individual discussions.

SOLUTION

For the island stand, an open, inviting spatial concept was developed with two access areas and several, partly exclusive communication areas on two levels. The use of natural materials such as moss and wood created an eye-catching contrast to digital content. The exhibits were staged in a high-quality manner and partly by means of 3-D replicas. Frameless walls with tablet control supported the information transfer.
